Stuart obtained his Bachelors degree at the University of Surrey and moved directly to BP Research Centre where he worked for five years as a Process Engineer. Stuart worked on the design and development of Single Cell Protein processes involving fermentation technology as well as undertaking software development and Physical Properties support for BP engineers.

Stuart then spent four years at ChemShare Process Systems where he was responsible for technical support of all Chemshare’s simulation software packages including ‘Hotline’, Support, Training, Installation and Consultancy throughout the process industries.

He then spent eight years at ICI Engineering providing software development and technical support for flow sheeting and physical property software for ICI world-wide. Stuart was also heavily involved in the application of simulation software for ICI projects in Refining, Chemical and Petrochemical industries.

After leaving ICI he spent four years with SIMSCI’s EMEA Projects Group where he was employed building computer models, designing and building software products and enhancing SIMSCI’s product offerings to meet specific client requirements.
